I pulled out the paints yesterday. My kids, 4 and 5 years old, showed me their skills.
If you use a toilet paper roll you can lift up the upper layer and reveal what's underneath.
You then can use that roll to decorate Momma's page.
And to save a shoe that a 4 year old believed could be saved by scotch tape (not), he opted to paint it instead.
turning trash to treasure! See the blue sticking out? It is a dryer sheet painted and added to the shoe. |
I think his turned out the best!
I am linking up with Jenny Matlock for alphabet I.

Erika, your daughter looks very serene while painting :)
Shoe Art - love it!!
Love his painted shoe! I'd frame it. ; )
Very cute & creative!
Oh man, you have the coolest, most creative kids! Any mamma that lets her littles paint at home is alright in my book:)
You are such a good momma! It's wonderful you are encouraging your kids' creativity! Nice touch they did to your page too! :)
What a fun day! Great crafts and art expression!
How cute! I'm afraid I am not a very creative person, but I love looking at other people's work, especially little people...
Wait until that one discovers duct tape! It will be so much fun for you then!
it's always fun watching kids be creative. Love the shoe
I ♥ the shoe :)
It's so great that you get crafty with your kids! You're teaching them so much!
aw, they are sooooo creative. nice job momma. :)
I love seeing kids create! Looks like yours are following in mom's footsteps. Cute kids!
I love little people's art... when my grandsons were here recently, they spent hours drawing and painting. It was so fun to watch them.
It's always fun when Noli gets the painting urge -- we have a special plastic tablecloth to spread on the table and it's as colorful as her paintings! Love how your page turned out -- and, of course, the shoe! (Also funny how kids think scotch tape can fix anything!)
Your kids are adorable. I love the shoe idea. Painting is fun. Thanks for sharing.
What an imaginative link for the letter 'J'.
That sweet shoe would look cute with a few little silk daisies in it!
My Grandlittles and I also love to paint! I'm going to save the next TP roll, though, cuz I never thought of that!
Thanks for linking!
This was fun!
A+
