My four year old fancies himself to be a "cooker". He takes this role seriously. One day, he explained that he had a new way of making a taco.

a 4yro's idea of a taco |
He used a slice of deli colby jack cheese, pieces of steak, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes and topped them with a dollup of ranch dressing.
It is not the way I choose to eat steak but his hit flew right into his picky mouth;)
QUESTION: What is your favorite food?

how adorable :)
I was a picky eater as a child and my Mom just let me combine foods the way I liked. I remember eating a lot of salty and sweet things together!
looks like a lot of great ingredients! Glad he enjoyed it. Love the plate too. {:-D
Looks pretty good to me :)
It's got all the components of a taco so I think he's a great "cooker"! Tacos and chilaquiles are my favorites lately although my tacos do look a bit different! :)
When you've got a picky eater whatever gets them to eat is a good thing :)
I think it sounds delicious! I see a great chef in the future.
As for my favorite food...does chocolate count?
LOL! I have a grandson, Alex, who is a "cooker" -- he wanted child-sized oven mitts for his birthday - navy chevrons. Who knows? Perhaps your 4 year old will be the next Emeril!
My favorite food is ice cream - no cooking involved. My second favorite food is pizza(delivered) -- also no cooking involved.
I love it! I put Ranch dressing on all sorts of dishes so that looks right up my alley. That's great that he's taking initiative to "make" foods that he enjoys.
haha - that is soooo fun! LOL! DD and SIL let the girls make their own little pizzas just the way they want them - and then dip them in Ranch dressing. It's actually pretty good.
looks pretty good right now! he can come cook for me any day. lol
Who knows - maybe he's going to be a great chef?!
I have to agree with PF that icecream and pizza are favorites. I am improving my diet though and unfortunately those have to be rare eats now.
Wow...that sounds pretty good to me!
That's awesome! Who knows? Perhaps he'll be quite the cook someday!
I think he's got a great idea -- and it's healthy!! Quite the "cooker" who might turn into a chef someday!!
I have a kindergarten student at school that puts jelly on his egg salad and tuna salad sandwiches. He eats it so that's all that matters. LOL
