March Challenge -- Tinted Glass

The March Challenge for the BBA is to explore tint. I am in the process of finding new ways to reuse old objects in my home and this was the perfect opportunity. I tinted old canning jars in my favorite soft shades.

I love hydrangea but can only get the fake ones to survive in my home. Sigh. Can't you just see the (real) blooms in these pretty containers? The jars actually remind me of the glasses we would drink out of at my grandpa's house after a day at the beach. Funny how repurposing things can bring back good memories. I even called mom to talk to her about them.

QUESTION: What have you repurposed lately?
